Outlook Newspaper Northern Ireland covers a large and prosperous area of South Down. The total population of the two district council areas where the Outlook circulates is over 100,000. The areas of Banbridge, Newry and Mourne have been characterised by a rapid growth in retail activity and major house building programmes.

The popularity of the Outlook in these areas reflects in an 8.6% increase in sales according to recent findings.

The County Down Outlook, established in 1940, has gained the confidence of the business world and records the life and activities of the community, young and old.

The paper is anxious to build on its success and has recently demonstrated its commitment to the Mournes area of South Down by opening a second office, in Kilkeel – Northern Ireland’s largest fishing port.
