Financial Mail Newspaper South Africa (or the FM, as it is widely known), is a South African business magazine published with a focus of reaching the country’s top business minds.

Launched in 1959, the weekly magazine underwent a major “look and feel” change in 2006 which saw it reclaim its position as the most widely read English business weekly in the country.

Staffed by some of the best journalists in the country, FM is regarded as a weekly “must read” by the business and investor community.

The magazine is a leader in providing thought provoking financial, economic and political articles that go way beyond beat reporting. On a weekly basis, the FM editions relentlessly provide an in-depth analysis of industry and commerce.

It also publishes a series of popular corporate profiles as well as annual publications such as The Little Black Book, AdFocus and The Property Handbook.

The FM, published by BDFM Publishers (Pty) Ltd, a company jointly owned by Avusa Limited and Pearson PLC, and also publishes the Business Day.

BDFM is also the parent company of the African Business Channel, which broadcasts Summit TV, Home Channel and IgnitionTv.
